With a growing portfolio of residential properties and an expanding pipeline of new development projects, we are looking for an experienced, motivated, and highly organized Construction Project Manager to join our team.

Position Overview

Oversee all phases of construction, from initial planning and budgeting through materials sourcing, hiring subcontractors and construction progress to final completion.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and the ability to independently manage multiple projects while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initial planning, design, and permitting through construction and completion.
• Oversee multiple construction projects and new development projects simultaneously.
• Coordinate material purchasing, deliveries, and equipment needs.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and local municipalities.
• Develop and manage construction budgets, project schedules, and timelines.
• Obtain and evaluate contractors bids, negotiate pricing, and manage subcontractor agreements.
• Supervise construction crews to ensure productivity and quality workmanship.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify issues, and ensure projects remain on schedule.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning regulations, safety standards, and permit requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve construction efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
• Provide regular project updates to company ownership, including progress reports, budget tracking, and anticipated completion dates.
• Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeouts.
• Assist in evaluating potential development opportunities, construction feasibility, and preliminary project costs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management, project management, or residential development preferred; however, recent college graduates with relevant degrees are encouraged to apply, even without prior professional experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate Development, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction methods, materials, building codes, and permitting processes.
• Experience managing multifamily ground-up construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, and specifications.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, contractors, budgets, and deadlines.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Experience with construction estimating, scheduling, and cost control.
• Ability to work independently, make decisions, and solve problems efficiently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
